The Cheltenham Football Netball Club boasts a proud history that dates all the way back to 1891. Known as the ‘Rosellas’, the club was one of the most successful in the strong Federal league and now competes in the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL).
In all, we have won over 30 premierships across all grades, including nine Senior flags.
The club has had 23 players that have gone on to play AFL football over the years. Former St Kilda champion Trevor Barker and Footscray’s 1956 Brownlow Medallist Peter Box are Cheltenham’s most well known exports.
In 2019 we head into our 129th year, making us one of the oldest football clubs in Victoria and we’d love to see you at Jack Barker Oval supporting the red, yellow and black.
