2024 Senior Coaching Announcement

The Cheltenham Football Netball Club is very pleased to announce Justin Pickering as Senior Coach for the 2024 Season.

The coaching sub committee went through a thorough internal process that included meeting all coaches whilst seeking feedback from key stakeholders including many players, committee and personal within the football department.

Once these meetings were completed and all feedback was gathered the sub committee came to the decision that Justin was the right candidate as Senior Coach.

Recognised as an excellent man manager with a great ability to form strong relationships, ‘Pickers’ joined the club in 2020 as Senior Assistant Coach and immediately had a positive impact on not just the playing group but the club as a whole.

He has has been pivotal in the personal development and growth of many of our players, and whilst taking on the Senior Coach role, this will remain a key focus from him.

Further to the above, the club is delighted that Brad Berry will continue in his role as Director of Coaching whilst taking on the Senior Assistant Coach’s role.

Brad came to the club last season as Director of Coaching and had immediate influence on all the coaches and teams.

The club is very excited by the above appointments as we look forward to building on the success of this season.
